Who We Are
Jerusalem Children and Community Development Organization (JeCCDO) was established in 1985 in response to the needs of displaced and orphan children. JeCCDO started supporting orphans and displaced children affected by drought and famine by providing institutional care. But eventually drawing lessons from similar interventions and realizing the negative impacts of institutional child care, it has launched a reintegration and reunification program.

To empower communities that realizes the rights and opportunities of children and youth to reach their full potentials.

To see resilient communities that ensures sustainable changes in the lives of children and youth.

- Improve access and quality of social services to children and vulnerable community members.
- Strengthen the livelihoods & wellbeing of children and vulnerable community members within their community.
- Embrace and strengthen social enterprise as a sustainable organization development model for JeCCDO and CBO partners.
- Develop & strengthen the organization and financial management skill and capacity of CBOs.
- Enhance organizational development, capacity and sustainability of JeCCDO.

JeCCDO is a Board-led Organization having seven members of whom four are females.
